Bioware have just updated their pre-order page to make it look more sleek and easier too read. Also they give us a hint at when early access will start.
The Friday update hasn’t hit yet and as the minutes go by that hasn’t stopped eager eyes scanning the official website for more information. The pre-order page received an update with an interesting hint as to when early access will start.
“CUSTOMERS WHO PRE-ORDER STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME BEFORE THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH. EARLY GAME ACCESS IS THE PERIOD OF TIME BEFORE THE OFFICIAL GAME LAUNCH WHEN PRE-ORDER CUSTOMERS MAY ACCESS THE GAME. EARLY GAME ACCESS MAYBE UP TO 5 DAYS. THE LENGTH OF YOUR EARLY GAME ACCESS DEPENDS ON THE DATE AND ORDER IN WHICH YOU REDEEMED YOUR PRE-ORDER CODE AT THE CODE REDEMPTION CENTER. SEE PRE-ORDER FAW FOR MORE DETAILS”
Note: To see the information above click the small question mark next to Early Game access.
The wording of the early game access seems to have be chosen carefully. As Bioware has said that you will get into early game access depending on the date you entered your pre-order code.
Will Bioware invite people every day during those 5 days or split it into two big batches of invites. Do you think it is fair that people who pre-order earlier will get in first? Head over to the thread on our forum posted by Trey and join the discussion.
Credit should go to Zosha from the official forums. Thank you for your eagle eyes.
