Interested in Working with a Fansite?

Oh my god, its Samm, oooh, aaah.  Hello everyone, Samm here, host of The Ban Hammer, former host of the TOROcast.  First I have to put this out there, I want to thank Road, Russell, and Jeff to doing so well to continue on with TOROcast.  I hated that the game was not the fit for me that I was hoping for and I know a lot of you who I occasionally talk with on Twitter or by other means constantly tell me to try it out again.  Perhaps one day I will, maybe its the sour bromance break up between all former TOROcast hosts that threw me off and created more dissatisfaction.  Whatever it may be, Road, Russell, Jeff, Tom and the new host who I have yet to talk to have been doing very well keeping the podcast going.  In all of the The Twonk Hammer network podcasts it still stays the number one podcast which tells me that you feel its doing well also.

On the other hand, the site is not doing so well.  I occasionally come over here and take a look at how things are going, are there any new posts, I keep an eye on new twitter followers, Facebook followers, people who log into the TOROcast… well everything.  When a new show goes up we do great, during the time a show isn’t up its sort of stale.  I want to get TOROcast back to its former glory.  Upon launch of the game, we were set up to be a guide site, news site, video site, and continue on with the podcast.  However, while I handled the majority of the technical side of things, Musco took care of everything else.  Organizing the guides, the news, getting the podcast prepped for each week, etc.  When he left, I honestly had no idea what was going on.  People quickly left, jumped ship, and our original dream of what TOROcast should have been died out quickly.  After that, I made the terrible decision twice to change the sites backend, we lost so much.

That is all in the past.  I’d like to see TOROcast thrive once again.  Perhaps not as hard as a guide site, there are plenty of them out there now, no point in trying to compete in that market but I think we need to bring TOROcast back up to speed on things with news and perhaps video content.  While I would love to come back and make it all happen, my time is already drawn out to the point where I need at least another day probably two to level out my week.  I am now coming to you, the fans, the future fans, the haters and the disbelievers.  We are once again opening up our doors to new members, should you be interested in working with a fansite particularly TOROcast.com in one of MANY aspects, writing, creating videos, becoming a podcaster, etc. etc. I want you to contact me.  Samm(at)TwonkHammer.com.  I am a bit slow on my replies as of late but I tend to get back to everyone as quickly as possible.

I would love for someone who has some sort of experience working with websites to join us not only here but at TwonkHammer.com as well.  I am stretched out entirely too much and could use the help.

With that said, I am going to leave it up to you.  TOROcast IS the longest running fan podcast, lets keep the site that way.

About SammMoney

Hey there friends I am Samm 'Money' Carbo, owner of Twonk Hammer Entertainment, LLC. In March of 2009, along with a dearly missed friend I started a podcast some may know; The TOROcast based on Star Wars: The Old Republic, unfortunately that game was not a fit for me however I did not want to give up podcasting and reviewing games. Thus I started this site, and The Ban Hammer podcast. I am the proud father of currently one, work as a computer tech during the day, and a mail man on Saturday's as you can imagine my life is busy. Follow me on Twitter @SammMoney and of course follow us here @TwonkHammer.
