Become an SWTOR Founder.

So you’ve been playing SWTOR for a month.  You love the game so much that you’ve registered for your second month of play time.  We have great news for you then.  You have earned yourself a special title of “Founder”.  If you’re a title whore as I am then this news will excite you.  If not, well, I guess it’s a reward that you don’t really care about.

In my inbox this morning I’ve found an email from the Star Wars: The Old Republic community team stating that I may earn an exclusive Founder title for a limited time.  After looking over the qualifications of the founder title, I can honestly say its not as exclusive as one may think.

Firstly, it is available to anyone who has paid for an extra months worth of game time in one way or another, be it by time card purchased at a local retailer or by providing your credit card number to purchase a recurring account.

Second, its open until March 18th 12:01AM EST.

Once you pay for the first month, you will be notified by email.  After receiving the email check your in game mail.  In your mail box you will find a message from “Star Wars: The Old Republic”.  The message will include a “Founders Medal” place the medal in your inventory and use it.

That’s it.  There isn’t anything else that needs to be done.  The message says that it could take up to seven days for the title to pop in your title list.

If you’re not sure how to post a title to your name, open your character screen and choose from one of the many you probably already have in your list.
